If I could put zero stars I would. DO NOT attend this gym if you are under the age of 65. This place is a miney guzzler to all of the people there and they just try to pressure you into as many extras as they can. AND they won't let you cancel unless you are physically inpaired!!! What awful service I've had and what a terrible atmosphere it has. The equipment might be new but everything else is old. What an awful place and I am out so much money. I can't describe how dissastisfied I am with them.
I am in the process of trying to cancel my gym membership because I moved 38 miles away from this location to live with my grandparents. Mind you, they are 85 and live on the lake where there is major flooding that will still be an issue for many more months. Furthermore, they will need my help beyond the floods. I also have the privilege of being able to work where I chose so that's why I moved myself out there. I didn't want to change my drivers license as I still want my bills and such to go to my moms address. What's the point of changing all of that?
Incredibly nice staff. Clean equipment, with lots of options and space. Plenty of classes to choose from included in membership. So happy to go here!
I was highly disappointed with the staff/trainers. I got shuffled around therefore no one got to know me and what my goals were. I have given up and now pay way too much money a month for a gym where I'm setting up my own workouts. I tried to email management regarding my numerous disappointments and received no reply. I then said something to the woman at the front desk (who I feel is their best employee) & she said she would tell the GM. I never received any acknowledgement. I do however feel the equipment is adamant as someone who does weight training. If you want classes, I'm sure you'd be happy.
Furthermore, I have only utilized this membership maybe 4 times total. I am trying to cut down on pointless bills (monthly subscription boxes, going out to eat, and this unused gym membership). I guess I'm just confused why when I was signing things, I was told that I could cancel for $25 whenever I wanted. But then when I went to do it, oops sorry it was in the contract. Which by the way, I signed on a keypad while the computer was facing away from me and to the gym associate I was signing up with. All I looked at was a piece of paper that said my new monthly price on it. This is when I was told I could cancel for $25.
Women only, all shapes and sizes, always friendly faces! Not too crowded; never have to wait for a favorite machine or area. Great class schedule with lots to offer. A few more yoga classes (and/or if offered different types of yoga) would make it perfect!
All in all, be VERY weary of this chain of gyms because they will hide things in small print so they can leech money from you. I don't use their services, it's not like I'm wearing on their equipment or costing them utilities.. They will juggle you around until someone decides to help you and then provide vague answers like some cold hearted robot. Very unfortunate that a business like this exists. I will continue to spread the word about this messed up situation. $180 more that I owe to them until the end of my membership. I will never return and will make sure no one I know ever signs something from this company.
After being juggled around from person to person, I finally spoke with Michelle at the corporate office who informed me that cancelling was not an option if I didn't change my license AND start receiving mail to the new location. Again, what's the point? Also, I could barely understand her because her connection was so bad (which she addressed she knew was a problem on her end). How can you run a corporate office and not have a phone system to handle calls?
