This is a quiet library with a helpful staff. The selection is small, but since the overall hold system works well for the county library system, it's not a problem. Can't take credit cards for late fees or hold fees, but you could pay it online with a card.
Yes! We all love our local library’s and that include the City of Tonawanda Public Library. They have a great selection of DVDs, local history books, graphs, and charts.
This library is great. But what I love the most about it is the way the building was designed with a phallus on the mind. Just look at Google Earth. But yeah, great library.

Weirdly run. They have called the darn local police on patrons for doing only God knows what wrong and these particular local police dutifully come running and carry out the probably --never mind--librarian's every nutty, hateful whim. I've witnessed this personally. (I live in western New York (but I take trips around the USA my reviews are varied and accurate!))
The Tonawanda cops should really tell the librarians that the former will not come unless there is real trouble and some real lawbreaking. The librarians take far too much advantage of being municipal employees along with the local law enforcement.
