I am giving 1 star because my wax was great! However my hair not so great. I was quoted a price and then charged $40 more than what I was quoted. My clothes were destroyed because the stylist did not put a cape on me while applying color. After multiple calls to the salon I was told they were not responsible. I was charged for services I did not ask for and was advised that I signed a "contract" stating they would not be responsible however when I asked for a copy of it I was told they do not hand them out. My appointment lasted over 4 hours and I had to completely rewash my hair when I left because the color was not rinsed out correctly. My hair cut was completely uneven and the color was applied uneven as well. The blonde color I asked for turned out orange. I did not feel comfortable saying I was not happy with the service while I was there because there was a discussion occurring between students about people complaining. I was reimbursed for only a portion of the over charge. I was given an opportunity to return for correction color or a gift card however I declined as I do not feel comfortable returning after the way I was treated.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about going to a school where the stylists are students, but I actually came out happy. I came for a cut, style, lowlights and eyebrows. I had Amanda take care of me (I scheduled with someone else originally but she called in sick) and she always asked me what I was looking to do and asked a lot of questions to make sure she knew what I wanted, which I appreciated. I was also impressed by her honesty. I was talking with her about a color for lowlights and she said "I recommend this color, not this one or that one. Something like this or this." She was with me every step of the way and I hope to see her again! ❤

Bad Experience. Just awful..Today June 13th 2017 at 645 pm.. First. The stylist girl.was not pleasant and gave me a wierd vibe possibly i think because i had missed the pushed on me scheduled appointment that was for a few weeks earlier. I had no reminder call or text sent to me so i missed the appointment. The girl was nice the other time she cut my.. hair. ..i admit that i Do have tangly hard to manage hair. But she was rough my hair during the wash. It was very unpleasant. I have long hair and wanted a conditioning. My head was not scrubbed or massaged. She just kept coming her fingers thruough my hair and pulling it..i.got no towel for my neck.to lay my head on the sink for 5 min during the conditioning.. . i had to ask her for one..then she wss rough combing my hair pulling on it ..so i said something and she finally got a wider comb..then she clipped my hair up dripping wet and didn't even dry it off at all..she clipped it up all wrongand sloppy. and it hurt and one clip kept falling out...one clip was in the crown of my head i had to move it... I said water was dripping on me. Can i dry it off. So she snapps at me and says i had to keep it wet to comb thuough it. So i said but its dripping in my face... ..alot too.actually . So she huffs amd hands me a towel. But i really alluded that wamted her to take out the clips. Dry it and put it back up..i just had to.keep.drying off and my face and neck..it was awful..the one clip was hamging down with some hair hanging. I tired to dry it but with the clip up.. there was no way..she knew i was struggling but seemed irratated and just kept on cutting... .then to top it all off..she half blow dries my hair and says.."is this good enough???:. GOSH. Even though i only asked for was a scrunch blow dry with zero straitening ... Fine i said. ButI i should have just walked out way wsy sooner..Then she wanted to set up another appointment with me. So i lied amd said sure okay. Just to be polite even though i was just abused.Lol She was supposed to check at the desk to see if they had my correct phone number. She never checked. I had to. They said that they didnt even have any number all for me.at all in the system. Hmmm..Very odd Because i had given it to them.before..and had been there for various tbings and had reminder calls those times..idk. my head is sore and the hair products were too perfumed for me made my eyes water.. i had to soak my head in cold water when i got home. I only got a quarter inch cut in a blunt cut and had to go tbuough all that humiliation and bull.. i would Never Ever go back.there now..i was a regular customer with no previous gripes..i live a block away from the Salon..oh well. They lost a customer.
